I'm here to share how I transformed my own elementary school classroom by integrating 21st century technologies. For me this process is fluid, constantly changing direction with many rewards, challenges, set-backs, and yes, anxious moments but I remain passionate about it. I take risks. I search for new ways to keep my students engaged. And, I don't give up because as an educator I owe it to my students to continue this process.

I've lived in San Diego since 1981 when I emigrated from England with my family, and I've been here ever since. I attended U.C. San Diego as an undergraduate, then attended San Diego State University (SDSU) where I received my teaching credential, and finally SDSU again for my masters in Educational Technology through the COMET program.

I currently teach 4th grade at Curie Elementary. I'm also the Digital Teacher Leader for my school, mentoring other i21 teachers.
