Julie Garcia has served 20 years as a math teacher and technology advocate for San Diego Unified School District implementing various technology based initiatives and instructional models while adhering to state standards. In her current role as Director of Instructional Technology, she supports Blended Learning for the 1:1 Device Program, facilitates the implementation of Computer Science Standards, and collaborates with other departments on technology integration. She is passionate about students centered learning.
